Referee Training-Companion

1) Register as a volunteer referee at www.ayso-region94.com.
Select Register now, (SPORTS CONNECT) enter all the required information, then select the
MY2023 Adult and Youth Referee Program. Because you haven't volunteered before, you will
have to complete the background check process (if you are an adult)

2) After you have registered as a volunteer, please complete all required courses in
AYSOU. (Select volunteer tab and AYSOU from your account in SPORTS CONNECT)
Safe haven, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion Awareness, SafeSport and finger printing. If
they’ve already been completed, you do not have to complete it a second time. SafeSport
and volunteer form must be done annually.

Referee course date in La Habra Region 94 is Aug 20, must complete the online referee
training. (we will provide lunch and bring sun block).

To register for the referee class, email Eloy Chavez [email protected]
with Name, AYSO ID # and email address.

The overall intent is to share the responsibility among each team/parent. Region 94 is an all
volunteer organization. Our motto is to create a fair, fun, and safe environment. Remember
participation should not only be a priority, but our commitment to make AYSO Region 94 the
best we can be.
